Heidi Douglas - Massage Therapist

Heidi Douglas - Massage Therapist

Heidi is accredited by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Body Work (NCBTMB) and is a licensed massage therapist in both New York and Connecticut.  Heidi is active in the Connecticut Chapter of The American Massage Therapy Association.  She graduated in 1998 from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy (CCMT-Westpot).  Heidi participates in continued education seminars, and she has extensive training and work experience in day spas.  Heidi specializes in the modalities of deep tissue, Swedish, acupressure and chair massage.  She has a great deal of experience working in the medical setting in support of physical therapists.


Jennifer Kaloupek  - Athletic Trainer

Jen Kaloupek is the Athletic Trainer at Brookfield High School. Here she is responsible for prevention and care, evaluation, and rehabilitation of all BHS athletes. Jen started her college career at Boston College, but transferred to the University of North Dakota and graduated there with a B.S. in Athletic Training. She pursued higher education and professional development as a Graduate Assistant at the Division I, Oklahoma State University. She finished her graduate work in Applied Exercise Science and went to work at a pediatrics clinic in Maryland.

Jeffrey Panepento - Physical Therapist

Jeff Panepento has been employed by Physical Therapy Arts and has been treating at the Brookfield clinic since Feb. 2005. Jeff graduated from Springfield College with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in May of 2004. He also has a Bachelors of Science in sports medicine. He has had continuing education courses including Treating the female Athlete, Muscle Energy Techniques of the Lower Extremity, and McKenzie Part A: The Lumbar Spine.


Karen Schwarzchild - MAPT Physical Therapist

Karen graduated from New York University, with a B.S. degree in physical therapy in 1975.  She received her Master's degree, from Columbia University, in Motor Learning in 1981.  Karen has expertise in the following: Evaluation and treatment of shoulder and knee, pelvic floor dysfunction, neuromuscular therapy for cervical injuries, pelvic stabilization, medical exercise therapy, work injury management, treatment of headaches, neck and low back pain, myofascial pain, industrial medicine, Paris joint mobilization, Kaltenborn mobilization, McKenzie approach to lumbar spine, and craniosacral therapy.
